This one is soooo funny. I remember when the fandom first decided Cr1tikal's voice was perfect for Sans. I agree. It's not too deep. it's very even. There's an air of nonchalance and mirth. Even his sense of humour suits Sans.

I confess, I have watched this video on loop for thirty minutes at a time. I just love it so much. I remember when this meme song first appeared. It predates UNDERTALE by X years, but it's so perfect for the game that I think this video was destiny. Fated or not, it's a masterpiece. I love the added sound effects and leitmotifs. The animation is dynamic and smooth. It perfectly captures the duality of Sans. He's cute and silly and (canonically) will Default Dance just to annoy his brother. He's also... threatening. He's SCARY. But yeah he's friendly too ^__^

This animation is great. My favourite shot is of Sans walking up to the Ruin's giant door. I don't like all of this voice actor's choices for this monologue. (Nitpick incoming) cant remember what it was. Something about emphasis, pauses?

I still really like it though. This is one of my favourite Sans scenes ever.. It may be top of the list? Yeah. It is. Heheh... So seeing it fully animated brings me a lot of joy.

"Mind Over Matter" by temmmry

Mmm yummy delicious Sans torment and angst. I have looped this video for hours just staring at Sans's hands. Temmmry draws him right-handed which annoys me a bit, but how could I stay mad when his fingers look so delicious??? The composition delivers, too. The timing, the lyrics, the emotions... Sans hides his grief from everyone, so I feel privileged to see him suffer.

"Minor Holiday" by beff

One word: chilling. My favourite lyric is "we keep pretending that none of this will matter in an hour." The top commenter on the video believes Sans has accepted that none of it matters, but I disagree. Despite his painful awareness of his powerlessness, Sans CARES. Whether or not he's a defeatist or fatalist or anything... he cares. Just because his world is on the brink of destruction doesn't change the love he has for the people around him.

"MEGALOVANIA / Bone Chilling Remix" by TheMathewFlames

This is in the video section, not the music section, because I don't actually like the remix. I like the different phases, especially the comedic ones like the xylophone and Sans singing, but the Battle Against a True Hero leitmotifs? It's a complete failure. That song is a waltz. It needed serious reworking if it was ever gonna fit into Megalovania.

But you know what? The video carries it. I love the style of it. The staxel/blocky Judgement Hall... the first person view of Sans's last attack... The cuts to aforementioned comedy sequences and some quality Sans dialogue too. I love how he cheekily references us listening to the song "again." It's layered.

We first hear a lot of MEGALOVANIA because it loops as we fail to defeat Sans. (As someone who sought out the Sans fight specifically because I was curious about my favourite Homestuck song's inclusion in UNDERTALE... it hits different.) It reminds me of his mocking pre-battle lines where he counts our deaths. Next, we hear MEGALOVANIA "again" because we love the song so damn much, we physically cannot stop remixing it. Today there are thousands of megalos out there— and counting. I dont think the Undertalt fan musician community will ever get tired of doing MEGALOVANIA over and over. Lastly, we're hearing it "again" because we're replaying this video specifically. On the first watch, the joke doesnt register. Compare that to a second, tenth, or twentieth watch... You'll get why Sans is being so cheeky. Ah man, I love him so much.

This animation is adorable!!!! It loops perfectly, so I think it's better viewed on Instagram or Twitter or something. Even on Youtube though, it's still so satisfying. I'm charmed by the bounciness and perfect timing to the music. Sans is really cute here too.

What do I even say????? He's so hot. His pixels are burning me through the screen. I'll never get over him. I need him i need him I need him. Um... yeah. Atemune says she drew this because she's fascinated by the story's lack of resolution in a neutral ending. Everyone is still trapped and suffering... I guess she wanted to explore Sans's feelings in such a timeline, plus his reactions to the G-route as well.
